COUNSELLING & THERAPY
For LGBTQIA+ clients
My practice is actively queer and trans affirmative, which means that I support LGBTQIA+ clients' agency to define themselves. I believe all clients can benefit from this approach. I work with clients across the spectrum of gender, sexuality and relationship (GSRD) diversity, and have previously worked as a counsellor at elop (East London Out Project).
I believe therapy is a political act and creates vital space to process and fight oppression and injustice. I also believe that therapists have a responsibility to advocate for the rights of their queer and trans clients. I oppose transphobia and conversion therapy and am an active member of TACTT (Therapists Against Conversion Therapy and Transphobia). I was a signatory to TACTT's recent open letter to UKCP on so-called 'gender-critical' views.
